UCSI University and the China Conservatory of Music are paving the way for international academic exchanges, collaborative research and joint creative projects. This strategic alliance aims to enrich the educational landscape through shared expertise, cultural fusion and innovative musical endeavours. This partnership was inaugurated by the visit of distinguished guests from Beijing, including Prof Dr Wang XuDong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Conservatory of Music.

On 16 December 2024, UCSI and the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) hosted Friends of Sustainable Malaysia: The Alternatives to COP16 and COP29 ¨C A Way Forward for Malaysia and ASEAN. The event brought together nearly 50 participants from diverse backgrounds and aimed to discuss climate change and biodiversity challenges in Malaysia and the ASEAN region. The event provided a valuable platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and fostering partnerships to drive sustainable development forward.

UCSI University celebrated its third and final convocation of the year. We celebrated the achievements of 999 graduates across various disciplines, making the total number of graduates for the year 2024 to 3907. This makes it one of our largest graduating cohorts.  We also had our first stethoscope and commitment ceremony, officiated by UCSI Healthcare Group chairman, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah to our Doctor of Medicine graduates.
